In the 3rd Edition of our speaker series, our Founder, Harbani Kohli sits down to discuss one of the largest charities and hospitals in all of Pakistan, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center. One of the overseas ambassador, Omar Ahmed provides his experiences of working with the organization, and the tremendous work of the organization, that has now been recognized worldwide. The rapidly growing facility caters to underprivileged individuals scattered around the country, from cities such as Lahore, Peshawar, and soon Karachi, where the hospital will be complete by 2022. Inaugurating our first ever edition of 'Speak with the experts' is CNN Journalist and Producer for CNN's Trends & Cultures, Harmeet Kaur! Kaur is a prominent writer on CNN’s morning newsletter, ‘CNN’s 5 Things’. She has written articles on race and identity, and as a Sikh woman she reports and assists in events relating to the Sikh community in the States and worldwide. During the death of Deputy Sandeep Dhaliwal and the Indianapolis FedEx facility shooting, Kaur was a backbone in helping CNN, as an renowned organization report effectively and efficiently. Kaur is a graduate of Emory University, where she studied international affairs and journalism. Originally from the small town in Kentucky, she now resides in New York City.
