Article in PCR's May 2021 Edition:

Love Against Hate was featured in the May 2021 edition of the Phillips Creek Ranch magazine. Below we have attached the article:

"Love Against Hate is one of the newest organizations in town! Harbani Kohli, co-founder and president, as well as Kenedy Wade, co-founder and vice president, run all current projects, inside and outside of classrooms and seminars. Harbani proclaims, “The accumulation of events this past year was immensely eye-opening for me. As an upperclassman, I felt impelled to start instituting change in my local vicinity”.

Love Against Hate is a volunteer-based organization with fundamentals that emphasize leadership, and what it means to be a ‘solicitous member’ in today’s world. LAH has now risen up the ranks, catering to all Frisco ISD high school students, by popular demand. LAH’s main objective is to assist students with broadening their global outlook and strengthening their global outreach.

Kenedy states that “in today’s atmosphere, the ability to find solutions and answers to the prominent issues we face has become increasingly critical, especially within our generation”. By implementing the studies of global affairs and world events, LAH prepares students for their respective careers and allows them to embark on an impactful journey with their community at Reedy and here in Phillips Creek Ranch! Every initiative of the organization is carried through the motto, "Persist with love in the face of hate."

One of the most popular initiatives at LAH is the ‘Speak with the Experts’ speaker series. In the series alone, Harbani and Kenedy have had the privilege of moderating interviews with several well-accomplished professionals such as CNN Journalist & Producer, Harmeet Kaur, and CEO and New York Times Best-Selling Author, Meredith C. Fineman.

Insightful and compelling, Harbani and Kenedy encourage all high school students and their families to pitch in and hear from well-versed individuals who are always more than willing to provide tips and advice!
